Toronto and OLA
It was a long fun visit.
I went out with friends, we had a small dinner party, I received an original piece of art, I saw Farley Mowat and I met Stephen Lewis for whose speech I ended up directing traffic for.
I went to panels on manga, roving reference, graphic novels and genre fiction.
We ate Thai food and drank coffee porter.
We had breakfast at Ikea! Its only $2.00.
I met up with two people I have not seen since Library School. One is now with the OPP and on her local library board and she helped put together library trustee programming. The other is now a teacher librarian working on a Phd with many other thngs on the go plus parenting two kids.
I picked up a bag of free books and bought some graphic novels inc. manga.
I also met lots of fascinating people some new some I met before.
