Cell Phones:

I am thinking of getting a cell phone.

I hardly ever use the phone and at work and home I have a landline handy at all times.

The only times I need a phone are at cons, for road emergencies and the odd time I am out and about and need to call someone and there are no pay phones anymore where I am.

So would it be better to go pay as you go or a cheap plan or a plan that covers Windsor and Sarnia Ontario and SE MI?

I noticed that the roaming charges are less for plans than they are for pay as you go.

Also what should I be looking for in a hand set?
