I've read Little Brother, Brasyl, and The Name of the Wind. Everybody seems really infatuated with Name of the Wind, and I liked it and all but don't quite get the whole ZOMG thing. Little Brother was very good modulo the usual Doctorow quirk of chunks of irrelevant technical exposition.

Didn't Schroeder's Pirate Sun come out in that time period?
