Happy Groundhog Day!

Wiarton Willie did NOT see his shadow so its an early spring for those of us in Ontario, Canada.

Unfortunately I will not be screening the movie today too busy.

I try to watch it to cheer me up as today is the anniversary of my grandfather's death.

John Maynes Allan 1900-1992

A gentleman and a scholar and a friend.

Ahh...I need to go rent that movie!

I totally forgot about Groundhog's Day.

Now I'm up for some Bill Murray!

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. But if it makes you feel any better Sara, Adler and I are living in a horrible twisted version of Groundhog's day ;o)

We watched it! Thanks to your benevolence, which I will say is a fine tribute to your grandfather.

Dayshift watched it, then we left it for the nightshift. Good times. :)

Maybe you can answer this question for me. Why is it, if the groundhog sees his shadow winter will be longer? It doesn't make sense, because to see his shadow means the sun is shining.. and if there's no shadow, it's cloudy gloomy weather, right? I don't understand!
