Genre Fiction Market
Does anyone know where to find good statistics on how the fiction market breaks down according to how much mystery, fantasy, science fiction or horror is sold?

Hard to find, that.
Interesting bit from Publisher's Weekly that gives total sales , to give you an idea of scale (elhi = "elementary to high school")

Certainly bodice-rippers and Christian fiction account for probably more than two-thirds of all genre fiction sales in North America.
