I think the thing I like least about getting older is no longer having the energy to do everything I want to do.

This is somewhat critical to me since so many of the people I enjoy spending time with live over an hour away.

So as I age I see them less often and this can mean I might never see them again.

Which would be fine if there were new people in my life and there is but not of the sort I am losing track of.

I have read that people in their forties have shrinking social circles and you know those studies are right.

So as you get older take the time to be with someone you like because you might not see them again for awhile.

Just a though for today.

Finally went to see Spiderman 2 with the nieces and nephews, we enjoyed the movie but I wish I had spent more time with them.

Found a room mate for Conclave. Conclave can't come soon enough, even if elizilla will not be there.

Organized a evening at the library to mark the start of World War One and had 26 people show up, which is a lot, more than we had for the D-Day event. Mostly older folks whose dads had served on the war which started 90 years ago this month.

I finally got to see a little of what the Indian Village neighbourhood in Detroit is all about. Very big houses nicely up kept located right near very big houses not so nicely kept up.

I also visited the Grosse Pointes for the first time and had breakfast at the Coney Island restaurant at Gratiot and 696 with the big revolving cone sign. I have been driving past it for years but I have never until this week stopped there.

I started lifting weights again at the gym, I'll have to see if I can keep that up.
