November 29, 2005 For Immediate Release

Sarnia, ON - Fantasy author, Kelley Armstrong and science fiction author, Mark A. Rayner will be at the Sarnia Library on Thursday, December 8th to read from their works and to discuss writing and publishing. The readings will take place in the West Room at 7p.m. Admission is free.

Kelley Armstrong is the author of the Otherworld series, about werewolves, witches and other supernatural beings. Haunted, fifth in the series, was published earlier this year. Armstrong’s next Otherworld entry, Broken, will be available in the spring of 2006. Armstrong has also written some efiction, novellas and short stories only available at the author’s web site. Shannon Olson, author of Welcome to My Planet Where English is Sometime Spoken, described Armstrong’s first novel, Bitten, as a “hair-raising story for the she-wolf in all of us.”

Mark A. Rayner has recently published The Amadeus Net, a science fiction story about Amadeus Mozart, in 2028. He has been a freelance writer of nonfiction work, and has written short stories that fall loosely into the categories of cyberpunk, alternate history, generic science fiction, and humorous and/or odd.
