The next BSG project is a movie about the Pegasus.
Below is a tenative cast list and some ideas.
The Pegasus had a crew of 1752 souls including:
Tricia Helfer ... Pegasix
(not actually included in the 1752 and her role before coming a prisoner should be interesting.)
Michelle Forbes ... Admiral Helena Cain
Some insights into what lead to her making the decisions she did.
Graham Beckel ... Colonel Jack Fisk Executive Officer
How a morally ambiguous person rose to his position
John Heard ... Barry Garner Chief Engineer
An honorable and technically competent man in over his head.
Fulvio Cecere ... Lieutenant Alastair Thorne Counter Intelligence
Was he regular Fleet or an amateur press ganged onto the ship?

My friend Steve said the way Cain built the Pegasus' crew by press ganging civilians on board and leaving their friends and families behind she would end up with "death commandos" and I replied that is pretty much what she got.
The movie should be somewhat similar to the mirror universe episodes of Star Trek in tone. Familiar roles and setting, the crew of a battlestar at the fall of the colonies but with a different set of results.
