Sarnia Library Presents Free Film: “Spirited Away”
Sarnia, ON – To help celebrate the last Saturday afternoon of August, the Sarnia Library will present the animated movie, “Spirited Away” on Saturday August 25th at 2 PM in the Library Theatre.
This masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki offers something for the whole family. The movie focuses on the life of a ten year old girl, Chihiro, and her family, who take a wrong turn on the way to their new home an become trapped in a magical land.
The film holds the record for having earned the biggest box office, before ever opening in America. Miyazaki is known for his attention to detail and original and entertaining stories. He has also directed the movies “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” “My Neighbor Totoro,” and “Princess Mononoke.” The film also features the voices of Daveigh Chase, Suzanne Pleshette, John Ratzenberger, and David Ogden Stiers.
