Merry Christmas or Newtonmass or Season's Greetings everyone!

From Wikipedia:

"Fairytale of New York" is a song by Anglo-Irish folk-rock group The Pogues, released in 1987 and featuring the British singer Kirsty MacColl. The song is an Irish folk style ballad, written by Jem Finer and Shane MacGowan, and featured on The Pogues' album If I Should Fall from Grace with God. The song features string arrangements by Fiachra Trench. It is frequently voted the Number One Best Christmas song of all time in various television, radio and magazine related polls in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

On the late-night sketch-comedy program Second City TV in 1982, the Canadian-rustic characters Bob & Doug McKenzie—Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, respectively—released a version on the SCTV spin-off album Great White North, in which the gifts included eight comic books, seven pack of smokes, six packs of two-four ["two-four" is Canadian slang for a case of 24 beer; it is common in Canada for "beer" to represent both individual and multiple servings], five golden tuques, four pounds of back bacon, three French toast, two turtlenecks, and a beer. (They did not get past the eighth day. Bob wanted to include doughnuts on the ninth, tenth, or eleventh day.)

The video includes a plug for the animated series but from what I have heard this is the best part of that.
