Native American link to Europe revealed in Icelandic DNA
The article states that researchers have found AmerIndian mitochondria DNA in Iceland and that it probably arrived there about 1000 BP and comes from an Amerindian branch not now found in North America. The Dorset and Beothuk peoples being the likely candidates.
