It was fun, I talked alot about Confusion our con in Troy MI next January where tall beautiful blondes dressed as Superman are not considered unusual.

We had a grill going for burgers and franks and more kinds of salad than you can shake a stick at.

No new faces but I also talked about motorcycles and living in Russia the usual stuff.

One uninsured kid fell and broke his arm that was not fun so we had police, firefighters and an ambulance there this year.

I went bookstoring downtown afterwards and soaked up the ambience of a college town so different from the blue collar one where I live.

Sarah's named Cornell because its her mother's maiden name.

I felt really sorry for the little boy. I also felt kind of guilty for not having my splinting stuff with me, I could have splinted his wrist, so it would be safe to take him to the hospital. I will carry my stuff with me all the time from now on.

You having your kit would have been a bonus but you could not have forseen it would be needed and that you were going to be the only one with one.

Are you hawking me to come to Confusion next year? I love Cons, but hardly ever go. I think I've been to 3, unless you can count SCA events... then I'm a Con whore. I just like dressing up. I like creating a costume and a character. I like the crazy-friendly, open-minded people you meet at Cons.

You might want to try a local con to see if you like it before committing to a 12 hour drive. Of course you could also visit Mary and your Cat and meet all of her Ann Arbor friends and see Ann Arbor either before or after the con.

Next year at Confusion I am Artist Guest Liason so I will be working alot but you might enjoy hanging out with the Artist Derek Grime.
