The March of Technology

September 2003 will be the month technology finally forced me to consider buying a new computer since many of my friends are in love with the new lj skin which computer cannot read well at all.

It loves the old Lynx skin though.

Now I have to wonder what to buy and how to pay for it.

Why do you have to buy a new computer because other people love new skin?

I get that your computer does not like the new skin. Can you not still use the old skin? -- I have not looked at this issue since the changeover just sort of happened as far as I could tell. I thought I saw something that implied old skin still available... could be wrong.

Skins and Macs

I can use my preference to read my Friends list but when I shift to response or their archives I get their skin preference.

I have too many cool PC games to switch to a Mac cool as they are.

My friend Evelyn has a G4 cube!

Um. Why do you have to switch to a Mac?

Also, why, if you switch to a Mac for your online activities, do you have to get rid of your PC for other purposes?

It eats no bread to keep it, as they say.

This is the woman with 4 computers of her own (down from 6) and access to two more in the house speaking, of course.
