For awhile now I have been using an effective muscle relaxant (methocarbamol) plus the pain relief of ASA (acetylsalicylic acid).

I usually take before going to sleep to avoid waking up with a tension headache or a back spasm.

So far it works for me.

In Canada you can buy this right off the pharmacy shelf.

And you can buy the kind with codiene in it over-the-counter-from-the-pharmacist too. Using it for RSI, TMJ, and some migraine-like headaches.

Can't get it in Texas.
