Today Monday April 9th is the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. This battle was the first by all the Canadian divisions that served in World War One. Most of the ridge was taken in by noon in an attack that set out the methods that the British would use successfully for the rest of the war. The Canadians themselves would never fail to take an objective again. The techniques were used to counter attack the Germans in Spring 1918 and win the war that Fall. The video gives a feel of what conditions were like during that war.
