The DVD version of the Razor movie is very enjoyable. It has an arc, conflicts, mysteries and interesting characters. The framing story is that of Kendra Shaw a junior officer on the Pegasus who arrives on board the day of the Cylon attack. We see how that affects her, how she reacts, and the results of her decisions. We also learn more about the backgrounds of Bill Adama and Helena Cain. The scenes with the young Adama are very good tense and emotional. The scenes with Cain show someone who made a vital decision while young that she is dealing with up to her death. Its almost like she views emotions as the enemy and what happens to her tends to reinforce this. Did anyone else notice that in her attack she took more losses than in the escape from the Cylon attack?
The DVD is well worth getting if you are a fan and good SF adventure if you are not.
The extras are good too and there is much foreshadowing for the final season.
