The singer songwriter and the astronaut
Just got in from a concert of one Emm Gryner a locally raised musician of note.

Emm is a consummate entertainer with a very good voice and an eclectic angle toward life.
Her last album was a cover of such classics as Crazy Train by Ozzie Osbourne done as a ballad.
It was nominated for a Juno here in Canada
At her last concert she played these songs and a new one of her own called Christopher about Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield. Which she wrote just upstairs where I work, in a mere 15 minutes!
After she performed the song tonite she introduced her mystery guest, earlier rumoured to be David Bowie, Col. Chris Hadfield NASA mission specialist.

Turns out he also sings and plays the guitar, very well.
He and Emm sang a Gordon Lightfoot song together, then he sang one of his own that wrote about that great nation binding male bonding institution Canadian Tire.
Turns out he sings with a Celtic Folk Band down in Houston that does benefits for the International Space Camp.
All in all a very interesting night!
