Robert Asprin has died.
Robert Lynn Asprin former Ann Arbor fan and author, creator of Thieves World and the Myth Adventures and a co-creator of the Dorsai Irregulars has died.
He was found dead in his New Orleans home after a heart attack.

I am a big fan of Thieves World anthologies and even own the role playing game supplement and I was amused by the Myth stories and the Phule stories.
Rob helped make my first SF con, Maplecon back in 1981, a memorable experience.
He also rode out hurricane Katrina in the French Quarter only moving out when it became obvious things would not be back to normal for awhile.
