Charlie Brown the found and publisher of Locus the science fiction review magazine died in his sleep on the way home from ReaderCon Sunday July 12, 2009. He co-founded Locus and eventually took it over publishing it often with one of his two wives in the San Francisco Bay area since 1972. Locus has won 29 Hugo awards since its founding.
