I think they missed the spouses/domestic partners of the democratic delegates, at worldcon they are also usually members. The other category misses is protesters/demonstrators that might be there, but I think they might be more at the Reppublican one in Minneapolis. Also for size comparison, the Elks annual convention has 7,000 and if they're lucky, local press coverage (Elks convention is in downtown Austin in July 1 to July 5 in 2012, good thing all those new hotels will be done).
