10 centimetres of snow is cause for curfuffel?

Its called winter and we in Ontario used to know how to deal with it and even enjoy it.

Been off work since 1 PM and mostly drove around town doing errands since the snow had mostly stopped by then anyway.

We have that much out here in Victoria, a-and it's just lying around all over the place!
It's not melting, it's not going away!
The high today was -2!
This can't be happening, not in my city!
AIIIIEEEEE!!!!

I'm a Canadian in Michigan and these wusses get all bent about a foot of snow. No big deal. The roads are fine. No ice, its not slippery its just snow. Preserve me from idiots who go 5 miles an hour like snow is a problem.

I don't mind the snow, or driving in it (I do hate to shovel it...)
But I don;'t like "all season" tires, and think that winter tires should be required for driving here...

The 10 inches by me with ice on top of it sucked. It wouldn't have been so bad if my car hadn't gotten stuck on my way home from work. ^^

It's funny now, living in Toronto having spent most of my life in Sarnia. The city goes on an all out freak-out when the snow comes (for the record, I think that we had squalls and blowing snow from around 9am-4pm, a long time), and most people went home around noon, but I guess it makes a bit more sense with the 401 being what it is. Still, that city REFUSES to shut down, most of the major roads are plowed within 3 hours, it's insane!

I always like seing how more mild places react to snow, like Vancouver. It makes me feel all tough up here.
