Interesting item found recently at the Sarnia Libary: on VHS video the
movie "Avalon" by Mamoru Oshii who also directed "Ghost in the Shell,"
"Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" and the Patlabor moves. It tells the
story of ...a future world where people have become obsessed with a
virtual reality game called Avalon and who are trying to find a hidden
advanced level of the game. Avalon was filmed in Poland in Polish but
has English subtitles. It also features a Basset hound and trolley
cars two of Oshii's trade marks.

There's also a DVD floating around somewhere. I've seen it a few times.

I found Avalon very interesting when I first saw it, quite a while ago. Don't remember the details clearly now though. I'd watch it again, definitely.
