This line came to this area from the US and originally from England I think.
my dad'd mom's mom: born in Eastern ON
This line possibly has some Dutch in it.

This line goes back to the 1780's in NS to a German mercenary from the American Revolution.

This line came from Germany
my mom's mom's dad: born in Ulster, UK

my mom's dad: born in Bayonne, NJ
my mom's dad's mom: born in Dunfermline, Scotland?
my mom's dad's dad: born in Dunfermline, Scotland
This branch worked for Standard Oil of NJ and moved from NJ, to Sarnia, Halifax and ended up in Calgary.

So I am a mix of German, Scottish, Irish, English and maybe Dutch.

I'm 3/8 Irish, 3/8 German, and 1/4 Dutch. My dad's dad was 100% Dutch. My dad's mom was mostly Irish with a little German thrown in. My mom's mom was mostly German, with a little Irish, and my mom's dad was Irish and German.

So according to my genetics I should be a drunk who likes good alcohol but doesn't want to pay for it. *grin*
