Finding a place to live in Kitchener

She could use roomates or advice on how and where to look for a place.

I'm in Kitchener - as you know. What kind of place are we looking at? Bachelor apartment? Where in Kitchener?

hey. my job is in the south, near Strasburg and Bleams. I will be taking the bus to work. I don't know what the "good' and "bad" areas of town are, although I've been told downtown is kind of sketchy.

primarily looking for bachelor's apt, or really cheap 1 bdrm.

I've been reading The Record online and looking at ads.

I talked to a freind who used to live down there. She said that there's affordable places to live around there - but there are some streets off of Ottawa that are not so nice. The nice spots downtown are really expensive, and you don't want one that's not. Stick closer to the South end. There are some apartments right by Fairview Mall that are good and close to bus routes.
