'Tis the employer's screen and software. Um, whatever comes with the new Dell's for the screen and Internet Explorer for um, exploring.

My home setup is different but I find whatever's doing the widescreen at work, also ends up doing it at home.

No big if you don't want to lj-cut it. I have loads of people on my friends list and this'll go to the bottom soon.

Whatever you did to your entry, it's really messing up my screen. The comments bit is coming up at the top of my friends list, then the entry itself appear farther down, after the date bar and some entries from other folks. I don't know what's in it but it sure renders strangely.

Well, a Panzerfaust might pack more punch, but they are a hassle to reload. And MGs might have a higher rate of fire, but they are bloody heavy and make you the main target for any enemies. And pistols are just plain wimpy for anything other than fighting at extremely close range.

So yes, the assault rifle would be my weapon of choice.

I'm on a fast Dell desktop running Windows XP Professional and IE 6.0, with a 17" monitor. And it isn't set to large print. This is about as stock as it gets, so if it's screwing me up, it's going to mess up a lot of people.

Now that it's fixed, I can see three additional friends posts above it. It really was hosing the page.

I've learned that when people say that, it's best to just put the offending object behind a cut.
