Did you upload them to something like Flickr or Photobucket? 1. If Photobucket, they list the URL under the pictures. COPY THAT!
2. Otherwise: You can right click on the image (in your web browser) and hit properties. you can see the image location, example: You'll get a little box that pops up that looks something like this:
The next thing you want to do is add the image tag to your post. So go into your livejournal, and type into your post.
If you would like to add borders or mouse-over text, you could type
If you did that, it would look like (try mousing over that, though it doesn't work in some browsers... like mine right now)
Or with border="2" etc!
Of course, border and alt are optional. You can just type if you are feeling minimalist. border="0" would give you no border, but you don't have to type that because border=0 is assumed. The alt tag is the text that will appear when you mouse-over the picture, or in the place of the picture in a case it does not load.
It should make it easier. Here's the FAQ entry on adding images. Note that there should be an "Insert Image" menu available for use (if you have an LJ Scrapbook, by definition you have an account with this option).

Alternately, you can go into the gallery, select one or more photos, and post from there.
