"I'm tired of waking up tired" and "Relax don't do it"

Yes the Diodes and Frankie goes Hollywood said it best.

I am tired because I am tense but I am too tired to relax.

Its been a series of long work weeks and out of town adventures that started with a emotionally taxing breakup that are not going to end before Valentines Day. I start the day tired and goes downhill from there.

What do you do to relax in these situations?

Hot tub, massage, excercise, a good movie, a good book. Set aside some time for yourself to do something you want to do, and place it as a goal before you.

What do I do? A) Take a hot bubble bath. B) Do breathing exercises. C) Read a book, preferably some sort of light fantasy fluff. D) Get out of the house any way I can: Go to the movies, the mall, a bookstore, anything to be doing *something* rather than stewing in my juices.

I have no idea if that would work for you, but that's what I do.

I try to to B, C right now I have to read a downer book for the book club I run, D the weather has been keeping me inside.

Did I mention I have my annual review looming?

I will try to work on D in Toronto on the weekend.
