Look New User Icon!
New computer = new user icon!

The icon in question is the one I still use as my default.

I am not sure how this answers any questions.

42 isn't "the answer to life"

…it's the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. Very different thing.

The reason you aren't sure how it answers any questions is that no one knows what the Ultimate Question actually is. Obviously, if you knew what the question was, you would see that 42 is in fact its answer.

I hate it when people misrepresent the significance of 42. Hate hate hate.

Your interpretation is (to misquote Wolfgang Pauli) "so wrong, it's not even false." Perhaps you should read Adams' commentary on that episode in The Original Hitchhiker's Radio Scripts.

Wow, I remember when Douglas Adams was about humor. Guess that day has passed.

Douglas Adams was about humor. Douglas Adams fandom, like every other fandom, is about idolatry.
