One thing I can't figure out with these machine/man war things, done worse in those vile Dune prequels about the Butlerian Jihad, is why do they have to fight humans? Okay sure they were once enslaved. But they're machines. Switch themselves off, fly to another galaxy, wake up, settle on methane worlds. The end.
