Putting together programming at Confusion
I put together alot of the programming for Confusion a science fiction convention I work on and it sort of goes like this:
First principle is to fill all the function space available.
Secondly we usually have six or seven tracks that usually run like this every hour:
1. Literary about the writing
2. Science about science in general
3. Fannish about the people who attend SF conventions
4. A reading or coffee with/by an author or artist
5. Media including SF art
6. Gaming including board and roleplaying often with an SF theme
7. Second panel of one of the above not usually filk or science.
We can overlap literary up to three times in one hour but not always,
However as we do still regard ourselves as a literary convention
I do not think of this as a bad thin
