Anne McCaffery "Dragonrider" and "The Ship Who Sang"
Marion Zimmer Bradley "The Brass Dragon"
C.J. Cherryh "Downbelow Station" and "The Pride of Chanur"
Ursula K. LeGuin "The Dispossessed"
Connie Willis "Dommsday Book"
Books that sucked you in and made you think.
