So what is everyone doing for Earth Day?

I am going to try and take the bus to work.

Cool! We've been bringing our own bags to the grocery for awhile, so that will continue, of course. We've been doing a lot at school - encouraging using just a little paper towel to dry hands, use both sides of the paper, and loads of discussions about recycling. We are massive recyclers at our house!

I have been doing the own bag thing myself and usually shop at a place that encourages you to take home boxes.

I am taking 5 plastic bags back to the grocery store for their recycled plastic reusable bag and not driving tomorrow. I was involvd in the original Earth Day back in 1970, hard to believe it's been that long.

OK, now I understand what the Google thing was all about. (I couldn't figure out why there were trees/waterfalls)

I must be living under a rock not to know this. But I'm on a news fast because it is too depressing. :(

I don't have kids, so I'm not buying a landfill's worth of diapers. My non-children won't use energy or create trash.
