The new girlfriend post was an April 1st post, get it?

I guess I am too serious a person to try and be humourous.

Actually if you notice subtle clues you can see its spam from a bot.

Clues:

She has no email of her own.

She refers me to a singles site other than the one she found me so I can see a picture of her.

She mentions being "open to new experiences."

She moved to Sarnia from DENVER, why would anyone do this? Its possible but not very likely.

I did not try the cell number.

But your entry shows up in the middle of several April 6 entries on my friends list, not on April 1st -- I just saw it today. If that's the same for everyone else, no wonder none of us caught on...

Ah, well. Wish it were true! :-)

Yeah, the moving to Sarnia from anywhere would be a dead giveaway :)

Maybe from small town Ontario or any city with a chemical industry, but Denver?

Yeah, it showed up April 6. I didn't see it until April 7.

I wondered if she was a spam, but I didn't want to rain on a parade. Well, anymore than I actually did!!

I guess I am too serious a person to try and be humourous.
No, silly, you've been successful! The whole point of an April Fool disinformation joke is to take people in, to get them to believe it and look like the gits we are. Although the danger is that a) it will get out of hand and b) the people who take it seriously will be cranky with you.

But in terms of April Fool's, that was successful.

*Sigh*

She sounded like such a nice girl for you.

I wondered about the email thing as well since she had access to the internet but I was not going to rain on your parade.
