Once again I am glad that in times like this I live in a smaller city who seems to get power back earlier than big ones like Toronto and Detroit.

Although we still have rotating blackouts they will only last for two hours max.

What does it look like from outside the affected area?"

Also we had SARS and the start of the Iraq war so some things are better now.

Is the meme just to look back at your 23rd LJ post? Mine was a work rant, not fit for rehashing. Ironically, though, I declared that I'd had it and wanted a new job. Yet I'm still here...

I was curious as to what it was and then when I saw it it reminded me of how much some things have improved since last year.

I hope your job improved since then and you enjoy it more now.
