Wow! That's neat! Have there been any correlations between this ice age and Solar activity of the time. Apparently, the 'mini ice age of the late 1500s to the early 1700s has correlated to a decrease in solar activity. We're beginning a period of decreased solar activity now. So, it may be in our interest to emit more greenhouse gases.
