Help Wanted working Penguicon Program Operations:

Want to join those proud few who work in convention programming operations?

The basic duties:

You have to:

Make sure all the panelists showed up and find them if they did not.

Make sure they have water.

Give ten minute and times up notices

Setup technical equipment like video projectors.

Other duties as needed.

I am running program ops.

I am not sure of inducements other than getting into the Green Room.

There maybe refunds if the con makes enough money. I got a partial rebate last year for doing panels.

Hours are flexible but long.

Are you running program ops this year, Jeff? Do they offer a membership rebate, or other inducements to not be a total slacker?
