Endorphin rush is what you feel when the starting gun goes off, or your window opens suddenly in the middle of the night, or you've been running for a day or so. Endorphins are what allow marathon runners to keep going, and what your body floods itself with when you're about to die. It's sort of akin to adrenaline, but not quite the same. Endorphins kill pain, sort of like an opiate, but stimulate as well.

That's why there is a brand of hot sauce called "Endorphin Rush."
