Back still hurts. Watched We Were Soldiers and Wonderfalls. I enjoyed the former more than the latter really enjoyed Sam Elliott's performance

I am trying to get over it actually.

I had work on Saturday to 5:30 and then back pain that continues to today.

Amazingly enough my back doesn't hurt today. You'd think installing an engine in a motorcycle would cause trouble, but "lifting with the knees" and the extensive use of a hydraulic jack seems to have avoided that problem.

On another note: "getting over it" is very different from repressing it. This is where I screwed up a lot in the past. You've got to ride the wave of your emotions, not fight them.

In my experience they are:
Desire
Longing
Melancholy
Anger
Bitterness
Wistfulness
Bemusement

Oh, and drinking alone never helps. However, drinking with a close friend and behaving badly sometimes works out--'cause the next morning you realize what a fool you've been.

Yes I have never seen the point of drinking alone.

I am into day two of total withdrawal so far, although I have a few loose ends to tie up.
